As a farewell, the wireless controller from Google Stadia will receive a Bluetooth update.
Today, Google is shutting down its Stadia cloud gaming service after just over three years due to underuse. The company announced the end of the service at the end of September.
Buyers will receive a refund for hardware and games purchased from the store.
At least players can still use the Stadia Wireless Controller and connect it to the PC. Because Google has now released an update to say goodbye, with which the Bluetooth functionality is guaranteed.
Google points out that the update is available until December 31st. Users should also be aware that once Bluetooth is enabled, Stadia will no longer be able to use Wi-Fi.
Further details on downloading the update and using Bluetooth can be found on a help page.
