Earlier this week we got to see another trailer for The Mandalorian season 3. From March 1, 2023, the new episodes will be available on Disney Plus. The trailer provided arguably the best look yet at the events that await us in the coming months. Of course, the focus is again on Din Djarin and Grogu, who are now heading to Mandalore. Baby Yoda in particular is about to see big changes.
What does the trailer show?
We already know from Season 2 that Grogu decided against training as a Jedi with Luke Skywalker. Instead, he wants to stay with Din Djarin and apparently learn the ways of a Mandalorian. This is also made clear by the new material for the third season. Of course, “the child” hasn’t forgotten how to use the Force, which we’ve seen again and again in the last few episodes. And also the origin story of Grogu could be presented shortly.

There is a flashback to Order 66 in the footage for a brief moment. Mini-Grogu was in the Jedi Temple that night and was apparently being protected by the Jedi. Perhaps the creators of the sci-fi series will soon tell us how or with whom he was able to escape. There is even speculation among fans that there might be a cameo appearance by Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader. We’ll know more soon!
