HMD Global has unveiled a budget smartphone Nokia C12 running Android 12 Go Edition. The novelty has only two cameras and is equipped with a fairly compact by modern standards 6.3-inch LCD display with HD + resolution, protected from damage by tempered glass.

The dimensions of the smartphone, enclosed in a polycarbonate case, are 160.6 × 74.3 × 8.75 mm, weight – 177.4 g. For comparison, the previous Nokia C10 model with a 6.52-inch display has dimensions of 169.9 × 77.9 × 8.8 mm and weight 191 g.
Nokia C12 is built on a 28nm octa-core Unisoc SC9863A1 chip with a clock speed of up to 1.6 GHz and a PowerVR IMG 8322 GPU. -memory. The eMMC 5.1 storage capacity is 64 GB (no microSD card slot).
On the back panel there is an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash. The resolution of the front camera is 5 megapixels. Both cameras support night and portrait modes.

HMD promises to release quarterly security updates for the smartphone for 2 years. Nokia C12 will soon be available in Germany and Austria for 120 euros, after which it will be launched in other countries.
