Blizzard has announced the launch of the Year of the Rabbit limited-time event in the multiplayer first-person shooter Overwatch 2. Until January 31, 2023, players can participate in special modes and receive event rewards.
The modes are as follows:
Capture the Flag – Two teams of 5 compete to capture the enemy’s flag and defend their own. Quick Capture the Flag – A dynamic version of the Capture the Flag mode that places flags near the center of the map. Headhunt – Similar of the “Every man for himself” mode, where a hunt is announced for the player who made the first kill. His health and ultimate are restored, but he is also visible through the wall. By killing the target of the hunt, you yourself become the target.
During the event, players will have access to challenges that can be completed to earn a weapon talisman, memento, and the Legendary Echo’s Kkacha skin. Of course, there are even more skins and other Lunar New Year-themed cosmetic items available for purchase in the in-game store.
