In addition to a catalog of classics dating back to the first generations of PlayStation and the possibility of enjoying gaming via the cloud, PlayStation Plus Premium – the most expensive plan of Sony’s subscription service – also offers its subscribers trial versions of a number of paid video games.
The selection of trial versions is constantly updated and enriched, as happened these days with the addition of three new titles playable by PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers. We have already known the first over the weekend: it is The Last of Us Part I for PS5, playable at no additional cost for up to two hours to celebrate the debut of the HBO-branded The Last of Us TV series. The other two are Gotham Knights for PlayStation 5, action RPG with the Bat-Family playable for one hour, e Nickelodeon Kar Racers 3, karting game with the wacky Nickelodeon characters playable for a total of two hours. All three are fairly recent games, having been launched on the market between the months of September and October 2022.

Speaking of PlayStation Plus Premium, we point out that from yesterday 17 January, subscribers to the service can play three new classics for PlayStation 1, namely Syphon Filter 3, Hot Shots Golf 2 and Star Wars Demolition. The Extra catalog has instead been enriched with nine new games, among which Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition, Back 4 Blood, Dragon Ball FighterZ and Just Cause 4 Reloaded stand out.
