Returnal: PC date and pre-order bonuses announced

The PC version now has a concrete release date! In addition, Sony announced the pre-order bonuses and presented the PC functions with a trailer.

Sony and Housemarque today announced that roguelite shooter Returnal is coming to PC on February 15th. As with most games these days, there are a few bonuses for those who decide early.

The PC features explained

Climax Studios has implemented cutting-edge technologies to provide a fabulous gaming experience. These include NVIDIA DLSS, NVIDIA NIS, and AMD FSR.

Just like Sony’s previous PC ports, ultrawide support is included. This allows Selene’s adventure to be enjoyed on screens with an aspect ratio of 21:9 and even 32:9.

Of course, ray tracing should not be missing either. If your PC is powerful enough, you can turn on particularly realistic shadows and reflections in the settings. And if three-dimensional sound is important, you can use Dolby Atmos. You need an appropriate stereo headset or compatible speakers for this.

If you start the game via Steam, you can play with the DualSense controller. However, a cable connection is required, because otherwise not all functions of the gamepad can be used.

Of course, the co-op mode is also included – just like the Tower of Sisyphus. These two game modes were added in March of last year.
