Stuttering issues for Elden Ring on PC – a mod may have fixed them

Since its launch in February 2022, Elden Ring has had stuttering issues on PC that still haven’t been completely resolved despite the various patches published by From Software over time. But someone may have found an effective solution.

Starting from a youtuber video thsea4021 who had described a method to improve the framerate on PC’s Elder Ringthe modder DevourerPi has given birth to an amateur creation, available on Nexus Mods, which would allow you to eliminate stuttering problems once installed. The mod simply sets the CPU affinity once the game has started, leading to a substantial improvement in game performance, much more stable, efficient and above all drastically decreasing the stuttering phenomena, still present but with a much less constant frequency .

Thanks to the intervention of the modders, immediately very active on the Japanese company’s blockbuster in an attempt to perfect it more and more, in this way the experience offered by the latest effort by Hidetaka MiyazaSki becomes even more enjoyable and immersive, allowing fans to enjoy Elden Ring at its best.

Stuttering aside, in the meantime, From Software’s work has received yet another award as game of the year: Elden Ring was elected GOTY by the New York Game Awards, further expanding its collection of awards.
