Ubisoft has announced that the Anno 1800 Console Edition will be released for the PS5 in March of this year. The Anno 1800 Console Edition was announced back in October last year and brings the 2019 city-building RTS from PC to consoles. It’s the first time a major title in the series has been ported to consoles. In the game, players build complex metropolises with efficient, interconnected networks and dominate their opponents.
“Anno 1800 is a great success story for the studio and the 25-year-old Anno brand,” says Executive Producer Stéphane Jankowski. “The popularity and success of the game on PC has given us the opportunity to develop a console version of the game thanks to the power of the next generation of consoles. Bringing our most successful Anno game to consoles is a real opportunity for us to let new players discover our award-winning game for the first time and join our amazing community.”
Anno 1800 Console Edition will be released on March 16, 2023 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
