01/19/2023 at 10:15 a.m. by Norman Wittkopf – With the LS-SE series, the Chinese manufacturer Deepcool is presenting two new all-in-one liquid coolers (AiO) with lighting and a mirrored aluminum pump.
Last year, Deepcool presented the LS series of its all-in-one liquid coolers (AiO), which is now being expanded by two similar models with the suffix SE in the radiator sizes 240 mm and 360 mm: the LS520 SE and the LS720 SE. These again feature Deepcool’s 4th generation water pump as well as a mirrored pump front and an aluminum design with ARGB lighting.
This time, the new models rely on the manufacturer’s FE120 ARGB fans, which, according to the press release, achieve a dynamic PWM range of 500 to 2,250 rpm with an air flow rate of 85.85 CFM and a static pressure of 3.27 mmH2O. In addition, optional LSP (low-noise adapter cables) are included in the scope of delivery, which limit the PWM range to 500 to 1,600 rpm and thus reduce the noise development.
Meanwhile, the lighting of the system can be synchronized via the 5V ARGB header and supported mainboard software. The pump continues to rely on the improved micro-channel layout along with a 3-phase motor with up to 3,100 rpm in the series and a solid copper base plate. According to the manufacturer, installation should be quick and easy with stable brackets on several AMD and Intel platforms (socket 1150/1151/1155/1156/1200, 1700, AM4, AM5).
Price, availability and guarantee
For the LS520 SE, Deepcool gives an RRP of 99.99 euros, while the recommended retail price for the LS720 SE is 114.99 euros. The new models should be available from Alternate, where they are currently available at these prices (LS520 SE and LS720 SE at Alternate.de). They are currently not listed anywhere else in the PCGH price comparison. According to Deepcool, all LS-SE series all-in-one liquid coolers come with a five-year warranty.
