After the community’s touching tribute to Ken Block, GTA Online has received a new update which, among other things, will introduce one of the most requested features by players in recent times: the quick trip by taxi.
Thanks to this update, in fact, players will finally be able to save themselves the endless journeys along the streets (and not only) of Los Santos, thanks to the possibility of calling one of the iconic yellow vehicles at any time to receive a lift. Each run will have the cost about $1000 dollars, and there will also be a cooldown timer between trips. We would like to clarify that, at least for the moment, fast travel by taxi seems to be exclusive to owners of current generation consoles.
However, Rockstar has well thought of expanding the range of uses related to taxis, offering players the opportunity to pursue a career as drivers. These missions, in addition to guaranteeing an economic reward, will allow you to buy a taxi of your own at a discounted price from the $650,000 list price.
The new GTA Online update was also a great opportunity for celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year with themed aesthetic items, among which we find a rabbit mask and a tattoo.
These innovations come after the publication of the latest free GTA Online expansion dedicated to the sale of hallucinogens and psychoactive substances, which introduced a strongly narrative storyline and a series of new missions and vehicles.
