In addition to confirming Hogwarts Legacy ray tracing support, the WB Games support Twitter account has some bad news for those waiting for the world of Harry Potter to return to PC.
Sharing a screenshot of a discussion they had with the Warner Bros. Interactive support team, a user showed that there are currently no plans to enable the preload di Hogwarts Legacy su PC. The statements given to the player seem quite unambiguous:
“There will not be a pre-load feature available for Steam or Epic Store Games. However, you should be able to download it in Early Access on February 7th if you have the Digital Deluxe Edition or the physical Collector’s Edition.”
If there were any doubts about the reliability of the screenshot, WB Games support also publicly intervened via a recent post on Twitter, specifying that it “provides preloading for the PS5 and Xbox Series X | S versions of Hogwarts Legacy, which it has not been confirmed for Steam or the Epic Games Store“.
We don’t know if plans will change until the game is released, but at present PC users will be forced to download the 85GB provided by Hogwarts Legacy directly on day one.
In the meantime, we are still a little patient in view of its debut, we refer you to our Preview of Hogwarts Legacy.
