For the PC version Of Hogwarts Legacy will not be available preload neither on Steam nor on the Epic Games Store. As a result, players will only be able to download game files from launch.
As reported by PCGamesN, the confirmation comes directly from Warner Bros. Games customer service in response to a player question, which explains that the download will be available starting February 10, 2023, or February 7 in the case of the Deluxe and Collector’s Editions. Edition:
“There will not be a preload option for Steam or Epic Games. However, you should be able to download the game in Early Access on February 7, 2023, if you have the Digital Deluxe Edition or Collector’s Edition.”
The absence of the preload could make players turn up their noses, especially those without a fast Internet connection, considering that according to the system requirements of Hogwarts Legacy for PC the game should occupy up to 85GB of space.
As regards the console versionsthe WB Games Support Twitter profile has at least confirmed that there will be a preload for the PS5 and Xbox Series X | S versions, however without specifying dates and times.
