Swiss indie developer Sunnyside Games introduces the upcoming flame-wielding platformer “Nocturnal”. Released later this spring for PC and consoles, Nocturnal is an action-packed exploration odyssey in which players must stop an ominous mist from enveloping an ancient island. Use your fire to unravel the mysteries of the mist!
After an arduous journey across a stormy sea, Ardeshir, a soldier of the Eternal Flame, returns to his home island of Nahran. Amidst a shadowy mist, Ardeshir must rely on fire to destroy the dark forces that have infested his homeland. Flames are used in many ways here. They can repel the fog, ignite the landscape, set mechanisms in motion and burn dark magical beings where conventional weapons are ineffective. But be warned: You can’t breathe in the fog, so you’ll need your wits to find new ways to keep it at bay.
