While attention is focused on the upcoming premium Galaxy S23 series, Samsung has a lot more going on. It recently launched its new line of notebooks with 5G communications Galaxy Book 2 Go and now it may be preparing another launch, also in the smartphone segment.
We are talking about the Galaxy A34, the successor to the affordable model already available on the Galaxy A33 market. The new smartphone, with a “friendly price” has been going through several certification sites, which suggests that its availability on the market could happen at any time.
The model has already passed through the Geekbench platforms – having obtained 778 points in single core tests and 2,322 points in multi core tests –, Bluetooth SIG and, more recently, by BIS, the Indian authority.
So far, it has been possible to confirm that the model runs the Android 13 operating system and the ONE UI 5.0 interface. On the platforms, the tested variants had a processor with two performance cores at 2.20 GHz and six efficiency cores at 2.0 GHz. These clues indicate that the interior houses MediaTek’s Dimensity 1080 SoC chip.
Finally, it was also possible to verify that it is equipped with the Bluetooth 5.3 wireless communications standard.
Then we have the GSMArena website, which already has an almost complete list of what we can expect to see on the terminal.
Thus, according to this website, the Galaxy A34 will integrate a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen that provides a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
Several configurations will also be available with 4 GB of RAM and 128 of internal storage, with 6 GB + 128 GB, with 8 GB + 128 GB and even a last variant with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
In the rear camera configuration, the terminal will have a primary sensor of 48 megapixels, an ultrawide of eight megapixels and even a macro sensor with five megapixels of resolution.
Finally, powering the terminal will be a 5,000 mAh battery with support for fast charging at 25 watts.
