Paramount Pictures has released the official trailer for the upcoming slasher film Scream 6. This time, viewers will be faced with new locations, but the same problems of survival and escape from Ghostface.
Scream 6 / “Scream 6” is a continuation of the fifth part of 2022. The action takes place about a year after the events of Scream 5. This time, the surviving heroes leave their hometown of Woodsboro and go to New York to go to college. Sisters Tara and Sam and twins Chad and Mindy seek to start a new life in the big city, but they are again hunted by the assassin(s) Ghostface.
The sixth installment was directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, and written by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busiek. Stars Jasmine Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, Jenna Ortega and Melissa Barrera return to their roles. Also in Scream 6 / Scream 6, you will see old familiar characters played by Courteney Cox (Gale Weathers) and Hayden Panettiere (Kirby Reed from Scream 4). However, Neve Campbell’s character Sidney Prescott will not be featured in the sixth installment for the first time in the entire franchise, as the actress felt “undervalued” during negotiations to take part in the new installment.
