The authors of Tchia spoke about the world, plot and music

Studio Awaceb and publishing house Kepler Interactive launched a new series of videos dedicated to the gameplay and various aspects of the future tropical adventure Bye. And the first short film was devoted to the world of the game, the soundtrack and the plot.

The Awaceb studio is quite small, employing nine people. And its co-founders have been childhood friends: both grew up in New Caledonia. Their love for their homeland inspired the creation of Tchia: in the game, the developers pay homage to the island and its inhabitants.

The history, cultural traditions and realities of New Caledonia are reflected in the design of the interface, fauna, voice acting and the plot of the game. Players will have to explore the rich tropical world, managing three dozen animals and hundreds of inanimate objects.

For those who are interested in direct gameplay, a video is dedicated to the channel GameInformer. The journalists were able to get acquainted with the game and showed how they walk around the island, turn into a deer and a bird, find out where the chicken nuggets come from, and go down from the height of the trees.

Tchia releases in early 2023 for PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
