Tottenham manager Antonio Conte commented on the defeat in the postponed match of the 7th round of the Premier League against Man City (2:4):
“We played a good game, showed character. We put a lot of pressure on City and created problems for them. It is always very difficult to play against them. And I am also disappointed with the result. I hate to lose, especially when we scored two goals first.
We must keep working and be patient. We need to create something serious with this team. We are ready to improve and grow thanks to this game. This means that we must adapt. Our team has experience, so we need to use it.”
