publishing house Focus Entertainment submitted a report for the third fiscal quarter of the year (ends December 31, 2022), where it reported on progress.
Revenue for the period was €76.1 million, a significant improvement over last year, especially helped by a strong Christmas season. The main “engines” of success were releases A Plague Tale: Requiem and Evil West. In addition, the sales of past projects, which continued to support additional content, also helped.
In the first nine months of 2022/2023, the company’s revenue amounted to 141.6 million euros, which is 16% more than in the same period last year. And the overall result was slightly better than Focus’s expectations, even taking into account major releases from industry competitors.
Release expected in the last quarter Atomic Heart (February 21), and the year itself seems to be successful for Focus at the moment.
