A new video for “Hogwarts Legacy” gives a glimpse into the universe that players will be transported to with the RPG starting in February. The clip also draws attention to the possibility of pre-ordering.
While the launch of “Hogwarts Legacy” is only awaited until mid-February 2023, a new video shows the scenario in which the players are placed. The clip embedded below does not reveal any gameplay scenes. However, after the start, a quite respectable cinematic trailer can be enjoyed, which introduces various locations, characters and magic.
In addition, the developers of Avalanche draw attention to the fact that “Hogwarts Legacy” can still be pre-ordered, for example in the PlayStation Store such as on Amazon*, where the title became the best-selling game before launch. At participating retailers, pre-orders will receive an Onyx Hippogriff (mount) and a Felix Felicis potion recipe.
Hogwarts and other areas can be explored
Hogwarts Legacy is an RPG that puts players in the world of Harry Potter, where they are sent on an adventure as students of Hogwarts School of Magic. As junior wizards, players search for powerful artifacts, discover new spells, and battle dangerous creatures while expanding their magical abilities.
In the course of the game “Hogwarts Legacy” Hogwarts school and the vast forests, which are full of secrets, can be explored, among other things. The creators promise an exciting and unique story that offers players the opportunity to experience their own adventure. The choice of house (Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Gryffindor or Slytherin) already plays a role.
Information was also recently published on the technical conditions. This is how the versions for PS5 and Xbox Series X support multiple graphics options, including Fidelity mode, which runs at 30 frames per second, and Performance mode, which takes it to 60 frames per second. VRR support was also considered.
