CD Projekt Red confirmed rumors that the updated version of the third The Witcher for PS5 and Xbox Series will be released on disc on January 26th. The authors told about the existence of this publication at the beginning of the month, and later on the network they found the estimated release date, which turned out to be correct. In some territories, however, this version will appear later – for example, in Japan it will be available for purchase from February 9 (on PS5). At the same time, Russia and the CIS are absent from the list of countries, although representatives “M Video” in the past, they have stated that the remaster will be available on their network – but a couple of weeks after the official release.
The updated version of the game will include additions “Stone Hearts” and “Blood and Wine”, as well as all the downloadable content that has been released in recent years. In addition, the edition includes an update for the new generation of consoles.
It is possible that on the same day there will be a patch for PC, which the developers recently mentioned – it is designed to fix the technical problems of the remaster.
