The leadership of the Dutch NEK from Nijmegen reacted to the statement of 25-year-old winger Mikkel Duelund, on loan from Dynamo, about his desire to leave the team in the near future.
NEK’s technical director Carlos Albers noted that his club is ready to part ways with Duelund ahead of schedule and has already started working on the implementation of this option together with Dynamo.
“This has been going on for a while. It’s about what perspectives Mikkel has here. Last year he played 874 minutes, especially in the second half of the season he played little. Now he has had to make do with substitutions in recent months. A loan player usually comes to play, so the question on his part is quite logical. We understand the situation, and if something concrete appears, you will know about it. We are ready to listen to proposals and work together with Dynamo Kyiv,” Albers said.
As a reminder, Duelund’s loan to the Dutch club runs until June 30. At the same time, the midfielder’s contract with Dynamo Kyiv will expire.
