Although it has been available on the market for six years now (the console was distributed starting March 3, 2017), the success of Nintendo Switch it does not slow down at all and, on the contrary, continues to record great commercial results all over the world.
Switch was the best-selling console in the US in 2022, and similar results were also recorded in Japan and Europe. Precisely for this reason, despite the recent rumors that Nintendo is in talks with suppliers for the possible Switch 2, the Big N does not seem to have any intention of slowing down with its hybrid console. On the contrary, however, for 2023 he would have one in his plans even more intense production of its platform, so as to achieve further great commercial results this year as well.
This is stated in a new report by Bloomberg, with the well-known newspaper that would have received details from sources related to the production of the console. In view of the new fiscal year, starting next April, Nintendo has already contacted its partners to plan the new distribution rhythms: with the semiconductor crisis fading more and more, and the persistent high demand for the platform, the Kyoto house is sure it will be able to record great economic results also for the next fiscal year.
At the same time, however, Nintendo would also ready to revise his plans should demand suddenly weaken over the next few months, which is why the company seems to have not told its collaborators a specific number of Switches to produce. For now, however, the future can wait: Switch seems destined to be the protagonist of the gaming landscape for quite a while yet.
