The OnePlus 11 5G is one of the most relevant smartphones in the Chinese brand’s portfolio and will be launched globally on February 7th.
Now it has been revealed that the global variant of the terminal will be inferior in a crucial attribute: fast loading. Instead of the 100 watts of the Chinese model, the global OnePlus 11 5G will support limited to 80 watts.
OnePlus 11 5G arrives on February 7, but with 80-watt fast charging
February will be an important month when it comes to launches of new powerful smartphones. On the first day of this month, Samsung’s new premium Galaxy S23 series is launched. Then, on February 3, the top smartphones Vivo X90 and X90 Pro arrive.
And on February 7, the OnePlus 11 5G arrives, which has been very well received in the Chinese market. And the reasons for its success are directly related to its specifications. However, it looks like the global variant will be slower than its Chinese counterpart.
Leaker SnoopyTech published on the social network Twitter that the model will reach the global market with support for fast charging of 80 watts. Remember that the Chinese variant has fast charging of 100 watts. The well-known leaker supports this information in a marketing document from the company itself.
In other words, the global variant will be 20% slower than the Chinese model when it comes to the much-desired fast fast charging.
Specs expected on OnePlus 5G global variant
Another of the differences that the global variant may have from the Chinese model is in the available configurations. According to rumors, OnePlus will provide a basic variant of the Model 11 with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. However, in China the less advanced model has 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.
In the remaining specifications, no further changes to register. Therefore, the OnePlus 11 5G will arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor inside, as well as being powered by a 5,000 mAh battery.
In the rear camera configuration – which will have the Hasselblad seal – there will be a primary sensor of 50 megapixels, complemented by an ultra wide angle of 32 megapixels and even a telephoto sensor of 32 megapixels of resolution.
The 6.7-inch AMOLED screen will provide a resolution of 3216×1440 pixels, a refresh rate of 10 Hz and a maximum brightness of 1,300 nits and Always-On-Display functionality.
