While Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden inaugurate the 2023 of Xbox Game Pass, new rumors emerge on the pages of ResetEra about the plans Atlus is working on for the future of its successful JRPG series.
As reported by the user I Am Hero Too, who had previously provided information on the rumored remake of the third numbered chapter of the series, Atlus would be in an advanced stage of development on both Persona 6 and Persona 3 Remake. To be honest, the Japanese software house had already planned to make some announcements in recent weeks, but preferred to postpone it waiting for a better time. The company even apologized for not showing Persona 6 in celebration of 25 years of the series.
Atlus would then have planned the official presentation of Persona 6 and Persona 3 Remake during the summer. At the moment it is not clear how the studio intends to show the next projects related to the franchise, but we do know that Atlus has promised several announcements in 2023.
According to previous rumors, Persona 3 Remake will feature the same graphic and aesthetic style as Persona 5 Royal, which managed to conquer millions of players. In addition to this, several additions seem to be planned that will improve the general quality of life of the JRPG originally released in 2006.
