Xiaomi 13 Lite detected on international platforms that suggest its global launch
Xiaomi 13 series will hit the global market at the end of February [email protected]
It is already known that during the 2023 edition of the Mobile World Congress – which will take place in Barcelona from February 27 to March 2 – Xiaomi will launch, globally, the new 13 series, consisting of the base model and the 13 Pro.
But it seems that the Chinese brand can make another launch in this family of smartphones and globally. Recently, Xiaomi 13 Lite has been detected on Google Play Console platforms and IMEI. This suggests that its launch outside China may be scheduled soon.
Some rumors indicate that this model will be an improved version of the Xiaomi Civi 2, and they have also advanced with some of the specifications that we can find in the new terminal.
The new Xiaomi 13 Lite is then expected to house the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor paired with 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage capacity.
The front area will be occupied by the 6.55-inch AMOLED screen that will have a Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The model will come to run MIUI 13, based on the Android 13 operating system.
Powering the 13 Lite will be a 4,500 mAh battery with fast charging support while on the rear panel we will find a 50-megapixel triple camera unit.
Xiaomi Civi 3 arrives in the second half of 2023
In parallel, the Chinese brand is also working on a new Civi model. The third generation of this smartphone could hit the market in the second half of this year. This information comes from Chinese leaker Pikachu, who also provided some technical details.
For now, there is little information available, but according to the Chinese leaker, the new Civi model will not have a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. In this case, Xiaomi will choose to equip it with MediaTek’s Dimensity 8200 chip.
The same leaker also advances that the Civi 3 screen will not have 2K resolution, maintaining the Full HD + of its predecessor.
Unfortunately, the information stops here. But possibly in the coming weeks we will have more details about the new model of the Civi family, which is characterized by its lifestyle nature.
