On Saturday, January 21, in Antholz, Italy, the women’s pursuit race will take place as part of the sixth stage of the World Cup.
18-year-old Ukrainian biathlete Alexandra Merkushina, who took 44th place in the sprint, withdrew from the persuit.
“I will not start the pursuit today. I will prepare for the EYOF,” Alexandra Merkushina wrote on Instagram.
The pursuit in Antholz will begin at 14:00 Kyiv time. Ukraine will be represented in the race by Yulia Dzhima, Elena Bilosyuk and Anastasia Merkushina.
