Site ExoPhase published a list of achievements from the future remake of the cult horror Dead Space. They basically match what fans of the 2008 game are already familiar with. But there is one significant difference. The Reunion achievement will be given to players who see an alternate ending on any difficulty. This suggests that the creators of the remake are preparing a different version of the end of the game. However, it is difficult to say what it will be.

As we remember, in the last chapter of the original game, Isaac Clarke gets to the Obelisk in the Government Sector. There, he is forced to fight a terrifying version of Nicole to stop the Obelisk from fusing the minds and souls of people into a single consciousness.
It can be assumed that the alternative ending will present us with an option in which the Obelisk managed to complete the convergence. Thus, Clarke will truly reunite with his former comrades-in-arms and the rest of humanity. However, this picture cannot be called rosy, moreover, such an outcome will reliably cut off all the possibilities of continuation.
Dead Space Remake will be released on January 27 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. Soon after that, we will probably find out what the alternative outcome will be.
