Konami is apparently hinting at the release of a small game from the Silent Hill series this spring.
The Japanese branch of the company posted on its social media profile an image of a cherry blossom tree and the following text:
Cherry blossoms in cold weather. I can’t wait for spring to come.
Many fans of the series believe that Konami is hinting at the release of Silent Hill: The Short Message (whose alleged art of a monster covered in cherry blossom petals appeared online early last year) this spring. At the end of last year, The Short Message received an age rating in South Korea. The game is rumored to be a small PT game, and will be a prequel to the events of the as yet unannounced installment of the Silent Hill series.
