01/21/2023 at 10:15 a.m. by Thilo Bayer – In the PCGH Extreme forum, users show their AMD and Intel CPUs – there are absolute rarities and also brand new flagship processors. The picture thread already has over 1,000 posts and more than 310,000 views.
Update from 01/19/2023: Nice that you are checking in with us at the weekend. A lot has happened in the picture thread about the processors in the PCGH community since the last update. There are not only absolute rarities like the Fujitsu (HAL) SPARC64 III, which PCGHX user das_bohnvirus shows, but also brand new processors from the Raptor Lake and Ryzen 7000 ranges. Some classic CPUs are also back.
What processors do the community members on PC Games Hardware Extreme have? The picture thread in the forum, in which users open their CPU archives and post pictures online, answers this question. Have a look and if we have aroused your interest: Feel free to post your CPU yourself. Photos from the CPU picture thread show, among other things, beheaded processors, i.e. CPUs where the heat spreader has been removed. The risk of defects is very high here. If you want to upload your own CPU pictures to the forum, just use the CPU picture thread on PCGH Extreme.
Note: PCGH Extreme is the community for PC mechanics. On August 20, 2007, the PC Games Hardware Extreme Forum opened its doors to interested readers for the first time on the occasion of the Games Convention 2007. In the beginning the forum was run parallel to the old PCGH forum and its content was almost exclusively about overclocking and case modding. Since 2008, PC Games Hardware Extreme has been the only forum for all PCGH community members, covering a wide range of topics. Since launch, over 520,000 topics and 10,100,000 posts have been created by more than 200,000 registered users. The [email protected] community has been very active for many years, making computing power available to fight diseases such as cancer.
