Anime creators NieR: Automata Ver1.1a reportedthat the release of new episodes will be delayed indefinitely.
The reason for this decision was the circumstances associated with the outbreak of coronavirus, which affected the production schedule. Most likely, the authors are forced to comply with quarantine in connection with these problems.
The story will “pause” on the fourth episode, with an updated schedule to be announced at a later date. At the same time, the authors apologized to the fans for the forced delay, although it was not their fault.
However, the audience of the project still has something to do – in particular, they find references to the original franchise in the debut anime series. So, in the third episode, they already found a nod to the side NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 in the form of a mention of one of the locations of the game (cities Facade). However, the first series NieR: Automata Ver1.1a generally received positive ratings from the audience – now the project has 7.6 points on IMDb.
