While the community of Blizzard’s latest free to play awaits the arrival of new content related to Season 3, which will be only a part of the news coming to Overwatch 2 in 2023, more details emerge on what should be a possible change of course in the communication of the Blizzard teamas suggested by the executive producer.
In fact, Jared Neuss has recently declared that there will be numerous changes relating to the communication of the innovations that will be introduced in the game. “We have in program regular communications (weekly or biweekly) that will manifest soon. At the moment it is difficult”, says Neuss himself, “denouncing” some problems related to what the user perceives through the information on the team’s social and official channels.
“You get one of three things:
Silence, because we work but say nothing; Tweets from developers (like this one) that are hard to find; Long blogs about important topics.”
This would make it difficult to properly inform the players, which has highlighted the fact that there must be “a faster middle ground. It is not a difficult problem to solve, but for a while it took a back seat to the launch and planning for 2023″. With this series of Tweets – partly an apology, also due to the work that took place behind the scenes but not communicated perfectly -, Jared Neuss also states the following:
“Great people are working on it now, and in the meantime, we’ll keep hopping on Twitter between meetings to fill in the gaps as best we can.” Meanwhile, the weeks to follow will feature new ones information about Season 3 of the game, as communicated by the executive producer. Meanwhile, pending further news, we invite you to retrieve our review of Overwatch 2.
