Indie game development team Chibig from Valencia, Spain, has announced that they are going to launch a Kickstarter campaign for their upcoming magical adventure Mika and the Witch’s Mountain on February 1, 2023.
The Kickstarter campaign will help the development team finish the game for its upcoming release on PC on Steam, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch consoles. The Kickstarter campaign will begin on February 1st and will run for 30 days, with digital and physical rewards tied closely to the game’s story and witch theme.
This adventure takes us to a small island where Mika, a witch’s apprentice, makes a living delivering packages to the inhabitants of a small coastal village using her magic broom. Her journey will take us to the top of the mountain, where a powerful witch awaits Miku to teach her valuable lessons in life and magic.
Mika and the Witch’s Mountain has captured the attention of the gaming community with its aesthetic reminiscent of The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker, as well as its story very similar to that of Studio Ghibli’s The Witch’s Delivery Service.
Demos of Mika and the Witch’s Mountain will be available at the Steam Next Fest, which runs from February 6th to 13th.
