The new January 2023 PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games have only been available for a few days, but we know you can’t get enough. If you’re curious to find out when the next batch of titles will arrive, then you’ve come to the right place.
At the moment the February 2023 announcement calendar for PlayStation Plus appears an unknown. Usually, Sony presents the free monthly games for Essential on the last Wednesday of the month and then make them available on the first Tuesday of the following month, however, this round Wednesday January 25th will be followed by Tuesday January 31st, and we doubt that the Japanese company wants to launch February’s new games on the last day of the previous month. We therefore expect the announcement of the new monthly games for PlayStation Plus Essential on Wednesday 1st February, with the effective making available on Tuesday 7th February.
In light of this, we predict the announcement of new games for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium for Wednesday 15th Februaryfollowed by the catalog launch during the day of Tuesday 21 February. The calendar of announcements for the next month could therefore be as follows:
Wednesday 1st February: Announcement of new free monthly games for PlayStation Plus Essential Tuesday 7th February: Launch of new monthly free games for PlayStation Plus Essential Wednesday 15th February: Announcement of new games for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium Tuesday 21st February: Launch of new games for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium While waiting to find out how Sony will move (we won’t have to wait too many days to find out), we remind you that in the meantime you can safely enjoy the games for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium of January 2023, which include Back 4 Blood, Devil May Cry 5: Special EditionDragon Ball FighterZ and a classic like Siphon Filter 3.
