The leaker ShrimpApplePro has published a batch of new elements about the future iPhone 15. According to him, the Pro and Ultra versions would benefit from thinner borders… because they are slightly curved. A subtle change that would nevertheless have its small effect.

Traditionally expected in September of each year, the new generation of iPhone also suffers, like all other smartphones, its share of more or less significant leaks. The latest, that of ShrimpApplePro in this case, has something to do with a certain amount of ink in the media.
Indeed, the leaker would have been informed of a subtle change specific to the screens of the iPhone 15. for thinner borders… thanks to very slightly curved edges, can we read on Twitter.
An effect à la Apple Watch
To better understand this significant development, the interested party compares it to the screens of the latest Apple Watch Series. In the idea, the more expensive iPhone 15s would produce the same visual effect. And as specified above, this would have the effect of slightly reducing the black borders on the side of the screen.

In a second Twitter message, ShrimpApplePro specifies that the classic iPhone 15 (Vanilla and Plus) would also be entitled to this aesthetic feature, without specifying whether the borders would also be thinner. This supposition lacks explanation, or even logic.
Same screen size
The Californian group could actually reserve this physical specificity for its Pro range, in order to better distinguish it from its classic range. Apple tends more and more to differentiate them, in particular through a different processor. The Dynamic Island feature also set them apart on the iPhone 14s.
This dynamic notch should nevertheless no longer be a distinctive element within the iPhone 15, since the entire offer should be entitled to it, advances ShrimpApplePro. From one generation to another, the size of the screens should also remain unchanged. We will see in the near future if other leaks corroborate these elements.
