The OnePlus 11 will be presented globally on February 7th. But this will not be the only product presented at the event, as the brand’s first keyboard is expected there.
Late last year, OnePlus claimed to be working on its first keyboard. This will be officially during that event, and the 91mobiles website shared the first real image of the product.

As you can see in this image, the product appears to be a mechanical keyboard with a retro look. But it presents the Enter key in yellow, and it also has a round red button, whose usefulness is still unknown.
OnePlus keyboard will have aluminum body and open source firmware
According to what has already been revealed, the keyboard will have an aluminum body and its firmware will be open source. This means that the keys can be freely remapped, so that users can take full advantage of it.
The product already has a page on the official OnePlus website, anticipating its official launch. But mass production will only happen between March and May. So fans will have to wait some time after launch to get their hands on it.
It now remains to know what OnePlus’ objective is with the launch of this keyboard. Is the brand thinking about launching a line of peripherals for the future? Remember that OnePlus has focused mainly on smartphones in audio products.
In addition to this keyboard and the OnePlus 11, the February 7 event will serve as the global presentation of the OnePlus Buds 2 Pro.
