As “Hogwarts Legacy” launches, a leaked artbook provides details on the upcoming adventure. The Chamber of Secrets is also featured in it.
“Hogwarts Legacy” could become the biggest games of the first quarter of 2023. While the reviews are pending, the open-world action role-playing game looks quite promising in the videos so far.
But it may not fulfill all the hopes of Hogwarts fans. Because a special place that plays a central role in the template is in play inaccessible.
This is indicated by the recently leaked art book, which we already discussed reported in a previous announcement. As a result, Hogwarts Legacy players will not be able to enter the Chamber of Secrets to fight the basilisk.
There were some challenges
The art book states that the development team initially considered “if the Chamber of Secrets could work in the game,” but ultimately decided against it. “Unfortunately there were some challenges with it and it was decided not to include it,” according to the Artbook Leak. “We don’t want the player to think they can kill a basilisk that must still be around in 1992!”
Instead, players can embark on the adventure, create their own story and explore the wizarding life. As the young wizards and witches arrive at the school at the beginning of Hogwarts Legacy, there will be many other quests and adventures for them to experience. This includes exploring the castle as well as taking part in Quidditch matches and various school subjects.
The hype seems to be making the cash registers sound even before the launch: “Hogwarts Legacy” was temporarily able to become the best-selling game on Amazon, which suggests a significant number of pre-orders. At number one on the PS5 charts was the default version of the titlewhich has meanwhile been supplanted by “Forspoken”, but still remains in 2nd place.

“Hogwarts Legacy” will be available on February 10, 2023 for the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles and for the PC. For the predecessors Playstation 4 and Xbox One, the title will be released on April 4th, 2023, while the Nintendo Switch version will be released on July 25th, 2023.
