In January of this year, Telegram’s share rose to 62% versus WhatsApp’s 27%.

Already in the first weeks of this year, the number of users reached almost 48.8 million. It is noted that a sharp increase in traffic and the number of Telegram users in Russia began at the end of February 2022.
