Animagrad Studio (FILM.UA Group) has revealed the full star cast of dubbers for the cartoon Mavka. Fox song”. This animated film brought together famous Ukrainian actors, singers, musicians, cultural figures and TV presenters. The authors have prepared a special video so that the audience can see and hear the star cast, as well as the animated characters from the Human World and the Forest World, whom they voiced.
It is reported that the main character Mavka will speak in the voice of Natalia Denisenko, a theater, film and dubbing actress. The movements and plasticity of Beregina Lesa were presented by the prima ballerina of the National Opera and People’s Artist of Ukraine Kateryna Kukhar, and the singer Kristina Solovoya performed two songs “Mavka” in the cartoon.
TV presenter, noumenon and volunteer Sergei Pritula gave his voice to the stiff Frol, Kilina’s stylist. The voice-over took place even before the start of a full-scale war. Participation in the project “Mavka” was the final work of Sergei in the entertainment field, with this he completed his career as an actor and showman.

Musician Oleg Skrypka dubbed the Lord of Nothingness, one of the four Highest Spirits of Nature – Sitting in the Rock. And the People’s Artist of Ukraine and actress Natalya Sumskaya embodied the role of the Witch Doctor, a wise healer.
Actor Nazar Zadneprovsky gave his voice to the venerable Elder of the Forest Lesovik. Uncle Leo spoke in the voice of the musician Oleg Fagot Mikhailyuta.
TV presenter Ekaterina Osadchaya got the opportunity to duplicate several heroines at once – Ukrainian women of different ages. To do this, she had to change the timbre of her voice, given which character she would be voicing. Nina Matviyenko, singer and People’s Artist of Ukraine, will tell the background with which the cartoon begins.
The duplication process was also joined by members of the DakhaBrakha ethnic group – Nina Garenetskaya, Marko Galanevich, Elena Tsybulskaya and Irina Kovalenko. They became prototypes for the heroes of the tape and “played” themselves – musicians, Lukasz’s friends, who inspired him to listen to himself and go towards his dream. In addition, the group created soundtracks for the cartoon – an adaptation of the folk song “Krokove’s wheel” and an authentic Ukrainian “Vesnyanka”, with which animated characters meet spring. The cartoon will also feature a song from folk art “Sho z-under the oak” performed by the group.
Animated film “Mavka. Fox song” based on the play by Lesya Ukrainka will be released on March 2, 2023.
