the streaming service Samsung TV Plus may be present on televisions from other brands in the future. The information comes from The Verge portal, which mentioned the manufacturer’s plans to take its application to TCL devices instead of just a few channels, as previously mentioned and discarded.
In general, this platform has several free channels, displayed along with ads in its catalogue. Until then, it was only available for TVs from the manufacturer itself, but now it seems to be considering the possibility of implementing the application for devices from other companies.
Recently, Samsung TV Plus has added free channels in light of the holiday season such as Christmas. Likewise, it is common to adopt special programming for times like this, as occurred during the Halloween period last year.
Currently, the company’s TV service is available in 24 countries around the world, offering a total of 1,600 channels. In that sense, there are some renowned titles that users can access such as The Walking Dead, Vevo, Paramount Movie Channel and Law & Order Special Victims Unit.
Even if it has plans like this, the company may still run into some obstacles, as manufacturers like LG and TCL itself already offer services like this on their devices.
