The month of February promises to be very hot, with the market debut of PlayStation VR2: the new viewer of Sony will be accompanied on day one by a large lineup of productions (there will be over 30 games in the PSVR2 launch window), but unfortunately there is already a postponement.
The Dark Pictures Switchback VR was scheduled for the launch of PlayStation VR2 on February 22nd, however the rail-based shooter from Supermassive Games misses the important appointment and is moved to a later date. In any case, the postponement is not particularly consistent, given that the authors have already confirmed that their next work will be available from March 16, 2023therefore just under a month after the previous date.
Supermassive Games explained in a message the reason behind the postponement, essentially related to the need to have more time to best polish the product: “It has always been our goal to release the game in the PlayStation VR2 launch window, but it is also deeply important to us that you, the gamer, receive the most polished and terrifying experience possible when you start the Your first ride with The Dark Pictures Switchback VR. With that in mind, we’ve made the difficult decision to set a new launch date of March 16, 2023.”
In short, it’s about waiting just a little longer. If you will take the new viewer PlayStation Hi, I was interested in The Dark Pictures Switchback VR?
