It was in October 2022 that Xiaomi made known the Redmi Note 12 series that arrived with three new models: Note 12, Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro +.
Rumors are now intensifying that this series of smartphones will win a new Turbo model, whose technical details are beginning to be known.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Turbo may integrate Qualcomm processor
We should expect one more Redmi Note 12 device, #RedmiNote12Turbo. Unfortunately, I don’t know anything about that except the fact it’s powered by Qualcomm CPU and the device codename is “marble”.

In October last year, Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 12 series on the Chinese market, which brought three new models. All of them fulfill the requirements of this Xiaomi sub-brand, that is, interesting features combined with a more economical cost.
The global market is still waiting for this series to reach shelves around the world, but before that happens, it seems that the Chinese brand is already preparing to increase this family with a Turbo model.
It is not the first time that we have heard about this new smartphone. Previously, leaker Kacper Skrzypek had already spoken of its existence on the social network Twitter, stating that this would be a model powered by a Qualcomm processor.
If this information is confirmed, the series would be perfectly divided between MediaTek and Qualcomm chips. It is recalled that the Note 12 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 while the Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro + models integrate MediaTek’s Dimensity 1080 chip.
But it seems that the new Redmi Note 12 Turbo will be entitled to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 processor that has not yet been officially announced by the chipmaker.
For that same reason, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo is “dependent” on Qualcomm’s announcement to be launched on the market.
New rumors reveal more specifications of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo
However, on the Chinese social network Weibo, new information has emerged about this Redmi Turbo model. According to these sources, the model will arrive equipped with a 6.67-inch OLED screen with Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The Note 12 Turbo also comes with 12 GB of RAM memory and 512 GB of internal storage capacity, in addition to a robust 5,000 mAh battery with support for fast charging at 67 watts.
Moreover, the same sources suggest that the model’s triple rear camera configuration will have a primary sensor of 50 megapixels, complemented by a second sensor of eight megapixels and a third with two megapixels of resolution.
Unfortunately, so far none of the sources have come up with a possible price for the new Redmi Note 12 Turbo model.
