After recently being nominated for an Academy Award for his performance as the lead singer in Elvis, Austin Butler recently spoke about his upcoming role in Dune: Part Two, which he says will be unlike anything else. in which he has ever starred.
We really enjoyed working together on this film. I had a lot of fun, especially playing this role, doing something so different from what I’ve done before.
In addition to his comments, the actor also stated that he is a fan of the first film, along with its director Denis Villeneuve, who he says is “an incredible director and an amazing person.” Although the actor hasn’t revealed any additional details about the upcoming chapter in the Dune universe, he will play Feid-Rout, the nephew of Baron Vladimir Harkonnen (Stellan Skarsgård). Despite the fact that the character of Feyd plays an important role in the overall plot, he was not present in the first part, and the plot was more focused on Paul’s introduction to Arrakis. However, the sequel is poised to wrap up the story on an epic scale, with Villeneuve promising to reveal more about the Harkonnen house as well as focusing on “cinematic action.”
Dune: Part Two will hit theaters on November 3 this year.
