The release of the Dead Space Remake is getting closer: the launch will take place on January 27th. A few days before the start, Electronic Arts gives concrete information about the activation – including the specific launch times. As a current Twitter post shows, Dead Space can be started at 5 p.m. in Germany on the day of release – so you can’t get into the horror shocker at midnight sharp. The time applies to PC (EA App, Steam, Epic Games Store) and PS5 as well as Xbox Series X/S.
Launch times and preload
So that you are prepared for the release on January 27th, you can – if you have pre-ordered Dead Space Remake – download the necessary files to your hard drive in advance. The preload is already available on Xbox, and preloads on PS5 will be available from January 25th. PC players will also be pre-downloading the files they need to play starting tomorrow, Wednesday. Once you have completed the downloads, you can embark on the adventure right at launch on January 27th.
