The German indie development studio Bonus Level Entertainment announces its latest work, the arcade game Saga of Sins, which will be released shortly for both PC and consoles. The special feature is above all the unusual look. In addition, not only is the release date fixed, there is also a demo available for download.
What exactly is Saga of Sins?
It’s an arcade game in which you take on the role of the cleric Cecil whose task is to rid a village of the seven deadly sins. Among other things, he has to find out which of the residents are actually sinners in order to finally be able to free their minds. Luckily, he has the ability to transform into four demonic creatures, such as a gargoyle or a werewolf, to invade people’s minds.
Of course, fights against the actual seven deadly sins are also on the program. Before these confrontations you have to complete two action-packed levels per sin, and ten puzzle sections will challenge your brain cells. A great feature of Saga of Sins, however, is the unusual optics in the stained glass look, which you may know from church windows. The style is inspired by the works of the Dutch painter Hieronymus Bosch and gives the gameplay a special charm. The trailer just released gives you a little foretaste.
