Earlier this week, 2K Games announced WWE 2K23, a new Wrestling video game due out in March on current and older generation consoles, and on PC. But there’s a but to this…
The FAQ page on the WWE 2K23 website states that “The Standard Edition is available on previous generation platforms (PS4, Xbox One consoles and PC) and current generation consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series X|S) in physical formats and digital.”
According to what we learn, therefore, the PC version is equated to the old-gen console editions like Xbox One and PlayStation 4, it therefore seems that WWE 2K23 for PC will not be based on the next-gen version for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S, and therefore will not include modes, options and other features of these versions, presenting itself as a port based on WWE 2K23 for PS4 and Xbox One.
It’s actually still too early to be certain about it since we have not been able to see the game in action or try it first hand, only a first contact with WWE 2K23 will be able to dissolve the doubts. In the meantime, here are all the WWE 2K23 editions and pre-order bonuses, including the Bad Bunny pack and early access with the pre-order of the Deluxe editions.
