01/24/2023 at 4:00 p.m. by Susanne Braun – In preparation for the Pokémon Go Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas, the Niantic people are again increasing the capacity of the inventory and Pokémon box. If you’ve already maxed out, buying an inventory bag will give you 5,250 consumable slots and buying a Pokémon Storage will give you 6,250 slots for your Pokémon.
Attention Trainers, here’s a service alert for those of you who suffer from notoriously tight inventory or Pokémon Box space. With the preparation for the Pokémon Go Tour: Hoenn – Las Vegas in February 2023 in Pokémon Go, the capacity for inventory such as PokéBox will be increased again. The new limits should apply immediately, it’s best to check them out. However, there is another hair in the soup with the current capacity increase: The upper limits are only increased by 50 places.
This means that you can increase the number of slots in the inventory to a total of 6,250 by purchasing an item bag. The new limit for the Pokémon Box, whose slots can be increased by purchasing Pokémon Storage, is 5,250. Both items, item bags such as Pokémon Storage, cost 200 PokéCoins each.

Is that all, Niantic?
This question is asked in particular by the hard-working trainers who regularly reach the limits of their capacities. In terms of introducing new Pokémon or about 16 different wing designs for Vivillon, an increase of 50 spots seems very small. The comments from Pokémon Go fans read accordingly under the announcements for the Hoenn tour, of which the capacity increase is a part. So write something TinyTigerXO on Twitterthat the folks at Niantic have been a lot more reasonable or generous with increasing the inventory and PokéBox caps in the past – because now there would only be 50 new slots, whereas previously 500 new slots would be made available every few months.
