Thunderful Games and studio The Station announced a city-building simulator SteamWorld Builda new game in the popular series SteamWorld. The project is due out this year on PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch. A demo of the game is already available on Steam.
In SteamWorld Build, players will become the architects of a real mining town by creating a settlement for steambot citizens. In this they will be helped both by various natural resources from the surface, and by abundant ores underground. Active exploration of the abandoned mine will bear fruit, because, according to rumors, you can find ancient technologies there that contain the key to salvation from impending doom.
At the same time, players will have to deal not only with the construction and extraction of resources, but also with the management of their city, satisfying the needs of local residents and protecting their workers from various misfortunes.
The interface and mechanics of SteamWorld Build are designed for both experienced users and beginners. The game will delight you with three well-balanced difficulty levels and five characteristic maps inspired by SteamWorld and strewn with various secrets.
