It was supposed to come out last September, but instead The Lord of the Rings Gollum was postponed by Nacon, which at the time revealed its intention to move the release date just a few months. To date, however, the publisher has not yet revealed when it will be possible to play the signed work Daedalic Entertainment.
In any case, it seems that we will still have to wait for some more time: according to what was revealed by Nacon itself in the report relating to its latest financial results, the stealth adventure centered on Gollum will be published within the first half of the 2023-2024 fiscal year: this means that the game will be released in a period between April and September 2023. There are no more precise details on the launch window for the moment, which therefore still appears quite distant.

The first real video gameplay of the game, dating back to July last year, had brought out more than one perplexity, as also told in our preview of The Lord of the Rings Gollum, hence the decision of publishers and developers to postpone the debut on the market with the aim of offering fans the “best possible experience”.
The hope is that the extra working time and the new release date still to be clearly established have allowed the authors to make all the changes and improvements necessary to make The Lord of the Rings Gollum a work that honors the work of J.R.R. Tolkien.
