After giving us a new preview of the awaited Forza Motorsport, Microsoft takes advantage of its first Xbox Developer_Direct to officially announce Hi-Fi Rushthe new action by Bethesda and Tango Gameworks that we had heard about in the rumors prior to the event.
What we have reported at the top of the news is the first official trailer of Hi-Fi Rush, a new action that bears the signature of Shinji Mikami. The title will put us in the shoes of Chai, a wannabe rockstar who will have to face a sinister robotic implant company.
Although the feature that immediately catches the attention is the intriguing cel-shaded graphics, the main peculiarity of Hi-Fi Rush lies in its Rhythm and music based gameplay structure. By performing attacks and devastating timed combos, players will create a soundtrack that will be the backdrop to the spectacular clashes. It is therefore a project that aims to skillfully mix the mechanics of a typical third-person action game with a rhythm game.
Last but not least, Tango Gameworks has confirmed that Hi-Fi Rush will be released immediately after the Xbox Developer_Direct closes! You can buy it on Windows PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store) and Xbox Series X | S consoles, and like all Microsoft exclusives you will find it included at no additional cost in the catalog of Xbox Game Pass (it will probably be necessary to wait a few hours before the title is actually available for download).
