The Day Before appears to have disappeared from Steam, with the developers assuring panicked fans that this is due to a “small technical issue”.
At the time of writing, attempting to access the Steam page for the ambitious zombie MMO redirects to the Steam homepage. Moreover, if go to developers page Fntastic studios on Steam, The Day Before will not be found anywhere. Naturally, the game’s subreddit was quick to notice her absence, and there was a brief period of complete hysteria before Fntastic was quick to clarify that her game definitely existed.
According to the developersthe reason why The Day Before disappeared from Steam is due to complications related to the platform’s weekly maintenance period.
We are currently experiencing some minor technical difficulties in displaying our game on the Steam store page. This is a known bug that has affected many games in the past. Please note that Steam has regular maintenance on Tuesdays and this issue is likely to be resolved at that time.
The developers have also asked their community not to harass them due to a seemingly harmless and temporary glitch.
We kindly ask you to refrain from sending negative messages or joining in the complaints of others. Rest assured that our game will be back in the Steam store once maintenance is complete. The main thing is patience.
But the maintenance has already ended, and the game has not appeared in the store.
The Day Before is still scheduled to release on March 1st.
